Be a Part of the Progress

Join Us On April 10th for Our 1st Park Event of 2010

The Friends of Triangle Park will be hosting a spring kickoff event on April 10th as part of the Phila. More Beautiful Committee's city-wide cleanup effort. Come out and join the fun as we get the park prepared for the growing months. We will be doing some planting, general maintenance, and finishing up some of the walking paths we started building last summer. If you have questions and/or would like more information about this event, please e-mail us at info@friendsoftrianglepark.org.

If you weren't able to make it to the Friends of Triangle Park 2009 Fall Fundraiser, you can still make contribution to the park via PayPal or a major credit card by clicking on the "DONATE" link below. As always, we very much appreciate your continued support.

The green space that the Friends of Triangle Park are working to develop is located at the intersection of Christian Street, 6th Street, and Passyunk Avenue on the border of the Bella Vista and Queen Village neighborhoods in Philadelphia, PA.

This land is NOT an official city park. It is privately owned. It is our mission to facilitate the acquisition of the land by the City of Philadelphia so that it can become a park. We need your support to make this happen, so GET INVOLVED!

Our group of supporters have worked very hard over the last year and a half to turn the triangular lot into place where flowers and trees now prosper, but our efforts are just beginning. We need your help to tell your friends, neighbors, and local officials that you do not want this space to return to a vacant trash strewn lot, and you want the space to be aquired by the city.
