April 10th, 2010 9am to noon - Cleanup event in the park as a part of the Philadelphia More Beautiful Committee city-wide effort. We'll meet at the park at 9am to get the spring season off to a good start. We'll be preparing the park for the growing season and working on finishing some walking paths we started to build last summer. Please come out and join the fun.
Recurring Events:
Every Wednesday night at 7pm we will meet to pick up trash in the park. We are also at the park most Saturday mornings from 9 am to noon for general park upkeep. All are welcome to come and help.

The Friends of Triangle Park 2009 Fall Fundraiser was hosted at Brauhaus Schmitz on Dec. 8th, and, by all accounts, it was A SUCCESS!!! More than 50 park supporters joined us to celebrate all that we've accomplished in 2009 and to provide well wishes for 2010. The generous donations we received will ensure that we can continue to beautify the park through the winter months and into the spring. Warm thanks to all who attended and the local businesses that contributed raffle prizes ... not many went home from this fundraiser empty-handed. Raffle prizes were donated by:

During the Month of August, the FOTP team worked every Saturday, and attended mid-week waterings, to get the fast growing park plant life into shape. We have created several flower beds and walkways with the help of bricks, pavers, and plants donated by members and neighbors. We thank everyone for their efforts and encourage everyone to stop by and see the improvements we have made! 
July 11th - 25th, 2009 - We met every Saturday to complete the continued to lay out of the flower beds, weed, water, and remove trash. Thanks to all who donate plants, and sweat equity to help out!
June 27th, 2009 - We will meet at the park at 9am. We will be laying out flower beds, weeding and watering.
June 13, 2009 - we had several people come out to start creating bricked flower beds. Thanks for all of the effort to pull weeds and organize the plants.
June 2nd, 2009 - We held a planning meeting for steering committee and considered ideas for future awareness events. Are you interested in becoming more involved in the park and would like to join in future steering committee meetings, please email parkwebadmin@gmail.com for more information
Thursday, May 21st, 2009 Annual BVTW Community Meeting. We were able to brief the community about the park and gain an audience with State Representatives Mike O’Brien and Babette Josephs. Thank you to all who attended.
Saturday, April 4th, 2009 2nd Annual Philly Spring Cleanup - We had an awesome turnout! Or dedicated neighbors spread tons of soil and then planted trees, shrubs and flower seeds. We had special visits from Mayor Michael Nutter and Senator Larry Farnese, and we thank them so much for their support.
Saturday March 28, 2009 - We were on-site installing a sign and encouraged passersby to look us up and get involved. (A big thanks to Ron Christy for helping with the sign construction.)

July 12, 2008 - What a great turn out for our third Park Improvement Cleanup Day!
May 10, 2008 - Park Improvement Day. The owner of the lot agreed to remove the rental fence, and neighbors got in there to start cleaning up the soil!
April 5, 2008 - As a part of the city wide Philly Cleanup, Bella Vista Neighbors began the improvement effort on the lot for Triangle Park.
